  First off, I'd like to clearly state that my review is for the TCF bank in cub. Not the grocery store itself. I'm upset with the customer service I recieved at TCF. I opened an account with them exactly 45 days when I went to this. I have cashed two checks from work prior to this, at SunRay and Tammarack village (I highly recommend going to those instead) so I went in expecting to be able to cash my check here and take some cash with me (like I have the other two times... I was told I couldn't cash my checks unless I had an account with them so I made an account solely to cash my checks). I interacted with a woman named Sara, who had a attitude of a sixteen year girl getting her phone taking away. Anyway, she told me I couldn't cash my check from work because my account was new. I was severely confused and asked her to elaborate on why. She said because my account was only 45 days old, I didn't build a trust with the bank. I've NEVER been negative in my account and for the first 35 days or so, I just kept $25 in it. And I was explicitly told that I had to open an account to cash my checks. I told her I'd be back in a few so that I could discuss my issue with my significant other. I came back, and asked to speak to a supervisor. She asked me what it concerned and I just politely stated I was confused about why my check couldn't go through. She then went into a back room with the manager for about 5 minutes talking. They both came out laughing which I felt was disrespectful because I honestly felt like she had intervened and somehow sabotaged my service. (They were back there for awhile.). The manager then saw me after her next customer and stood by what Sara said. Sara also felt like she had to be up her manager's ass to help her handle my situation when there was a line of 4 people behind me. I told her I didn't understand because I hadn't had that problem the other two times before. Sara told me it was up to the manager's discretion to accept or deny my check but when I asked the manager she kept saying it was something with policy but she could not tell me exactly what policy it was. The manager (her name is Yer) was still very polite in the transaction while Sara was not.
  
  Feedback from a customer, please be consistent in your customer service and don't hire people with the attitude of bratty teenage girls, because even if I was able to cash my check- I still wouldn't go there.

  Trash. There are about 7 people in each line and there are 6 lanes not open?? Looks like you might need new management. Or more employee's
